Another weekend, another trip to Besucherhügel

This weekend, Munich hosted the annual Munich Security Conference, which meant that MUC was filled to the brim with government aircraft from all over the world. And since the weather promised to be pretty good, I decided to spend my Saturday on Besucherhügel. This time, though, I traveled with the missus, who was visiting the local botanical garden, while I was photographing aircraft.

Lufthansa A340-600 takeoff

Unsurprisingly, Besucherhügel was pretty crowded, but it was manageable. And even though I didn't have much luck photographing government aircraft (none of them took off while I was there), I did bag quite a few decent photos.

After a mandatory Krustensemel at Metzgerei vinzenzmurr, we wandered around the city, and finished out day in Munich with pinza at the Daintree pinza bar (one of our favorite eateries in Munich).
